How to use CBD Salve
* Massage a small amount directly onto the skin. Repeat as needed. Store at room temperature.
Rub a small amount of the CBD Salve into the skin wherever you are experiencing discomfort. You want a thin layer of the salve to sit on your skin. It is best to apply a thin layer over the area multiple times instead of a big blob right at the beginning to give your body time to absorb it fully. We suggest waiting 30 minutes between applications however more frequent use is fine.
Ways to Increase Benefits:
You can use our CBD salve anywhere, anytime. However, heat is a great way to expedite absorption. Some ways to do this include:
Applying CBD salve directly after a hot shower.
Apply the CBD salve to an irritated area, and place a hot pad on top. Just be sure to put a barrier in between the pad and skin if you choose to use this method.

How Does CBD Salve Work?
CBD salves are topicals applied to infected areas to relieve discomfort, itchiness, and other skin conditions.
While these topicals are not ingested and therefore do not enter the bloodstream directly, they are absorbed and retained by the layers of human skin.
The skin is the body’s largest organ, and it is easy to absorb thin liquids like water, but it can also absorb lipid liquids like salves, which contain oil and wax.
The skin begins to absorb the cannabinoid lipids as soon as the patient applies the CBD salve to the affected region, and the healing process begins. With its calming effects on the skin, the salve aids in the healing process and relieves discomfort and itchiness.
Skin conditions such as dermatitis and psoriasis can benefit from CBD salves.
CBD Cream vs. CBD Salve vs. Cannabidiol Lotion
Creams and lotions differ from balms and salves mostly in their main bases (such as coconut oil) and active ingredients. CBD ointments are the same way.
Water and other moisturizing agents, such as aloe vera, are of use in the bases of moisturizers and creams. On the other hand, Balms and salves have a foundation of fatty oils, lipids, and wax, with little or no water.
This distinction refers mostly to the consistency and texture of these topicals. When it comes to measuring CBD content, creams and lotions differ from balms and salves. Depending on the substance purchased, one might be more potent than the other. Read the labels carefully for precise substance measurements, particularly if you’re using them to relieve pain.
